Project Blades of Eternity

The novella, Blades of Eternity, is an original fictional story written by Mitsuki Lee. Though it can be considered a fanfiction, the content of the story is not based on any specific media. The idea for the story was born from pure boredom (math class to be specific) and has evolved to the level of a story longer than that of a short story.

The basis of BoE is inspired by RPG games such as Baldur's Gate II and Ragnorak Online, as well as the anime series .//hack, where the idea of a virtual reality game was inherited. Blades of Eternity belongs to the fantasy and adventure genre, though the author is hoping to let the story evolve into something much more.

The characters are based on actual people, though not all the names are the exact names of the person the character resembles. In addition to those characters that happen to be the main characters, there are pure fictional characters. A lot of the fictional characters are based on other media characters (notably Atsuma).

The staff of Hyuu Designs are trying their best to make BoE as original as possible. Though this process might take a long time to perfect, many of the drawings are original drawings drawn by our own artists. We hope that in the near future, BoE will be able to adapt to a much more original and self-created environment

Summary of Blades of Eternity

Within the Japanese city of Kyoto lives the creator of the newest well-known virtual reality RPG game, Eternity. Within only a few weeks, it has enticed teens and game players of all ages to send themselves into a virtual dimension. However, unbeknownst to the players and the public, the creator of Eternity is an ordinary 16 year old girl who attends school and plays the game like an ordinary high school student. With Eternity as a communication dimension, Mitsuki Takase, and the other network administrator, Atsuma Minakami, are joined by a group of new friends as they explore the depths and mysteries of the virtual reality, Eternity.
